Configuring Email notifications from the APC PowerChute BE Web Console

I have a Smart-UPS 750 and am looking to use the web console to manage the emailing of event notifications.

I am finding that emails are not sent out for events I have configured to send emails. For instance I have told it send an email when a self test is passed, but I get no email when this happens.

I am using PowerChute Business Edition server edition 9.1.1 build 604.

I am accessing the web console via https://127.0.0.1:6547 and then using the events section to define when emails are sent.

Any help would be appreciated.

Is the UPS the same SUA750i that your wrote about earlier? Also, what are you using for an SMTP server?

The same model but this is a different UPS.

I am using the smtp server that was set in the e-mail communication settings within the software console. I know this smtp server is o.k. as the test email arrived, and I am receiving emails of events.

I tested the email with PowerChute Agent and SUA750. I received emails for both selftest initiated and selftest passed. Have you checked the SMTP server to see if there is any error messages when you run the selftest?

Side note: when you run the PowerChute Business Edition installer 9.1.1 when connected to a SUA Smart-UPS the Agent that is installed is Agent version 9.0.3.

How are you running test email? Did you install the PowerChute Server and Console or are you saying when you test for an event like a power outage you receive an email?
